Note from
James, Cheoy Lee Association Web Master - Anyone familiar with Cheoy
Lee's, and the history of the company, will know of the role Lion
Yachts and David Toombs played in the various sail models imported
to the US. Lion Yachts was responsible for bringing the
Pedrick line to the US and imported Cheoy Lee's for 40 years.
David is the sole owner of "Sea Lion" and sailed her in Maine where
the season is short ( 10 weeks ). This is a well
maintained boat with some history behind her. James
Note from David on low engine hours: SEA LION was commissioned
in 1990 and was is actual use only 12 of her 23 years- and not since
2008. Hence the low engine time. (Reason for selling: old age and
health)
Vessel
Walkthrough
A
fine example of a Cheoy Lee Pedrick classic, "Sea Lion" has had one
meticulous owner and has been cruised for only one month per year on
the coast of Maine most of her life. She is well equipped and in
yard-maintained condition. Her three-cabin layout with two heads
makes her just about the ultimate in fast cruising for two couples.
