M/V
Sunny Waters is a solid cruiser that is set up for travel, including an
8KW Onan Genset, marine HVAC, 650 gallons fuel, and 210 gallons water.
She burns 2 GPH, giving a range of nearly 2000 NM at 7 knots. Her sedan
profile is accented with teak trim and an extended hardtop for dingy
storage and weather protection in the cockpit. The full-length skeg
protects the running gear in shallow water and provides stability
offshore. The hull is solid fiberglass, with teak decks and wide gunnels
for access to the bow. The cabin is arranged with a stateroom forward
with double berth, a settee and dressing table and a stand up head and
shower. The salon has a lower helm station, a galley by the rear door,
and two settees and small dining table.
The 120 HP Ford Lehman diesel is dependable and well maintained, the
cutlass bearing was replaced in 2004 and the propeller was sent to
Propscan to be computer balanced. The 110V shorepower panel and
associated wiring were refurbished when the genset was installed. The
salon was recently rebuilt with heart pine floors and couches installed.
The engine room and the lazerette were cleaned and new gelcoat installed
and have lots of room for access to the engine for maintenance. Racor
filters on the engine and genset and engine fluids are changed
regularly. Boat is kept in a freshwater marina and used regularly.
She needs someone who has the time to take her out and play. This boat
is ideal for a liveaboard couple or for weekend camping with kids.
