"Juno"

This boat is owned by Jim Tew
She is berthed in Rockport, Mass.

"Juno", which has been advertised for sale on the website since last summer, was stolen from its mooring in Rockport [MA] harbor on the morning of June 25. May have been seen heading in the direction of Boston. CG and all local Harbormasters notified. Juno is an Offshore 31 ketch, it will be under power as the sails had not yet been put aboard. Cruising speed 6 knots. White hull with wooden decks, cockpit and cabin sides.  If you have any information on "Juno" please contact Jim Tew 978 546 1024, cell 617 645 6592 

Dec 2010 - James. as I may have mentioned, the boat was actually swiped off my mooring in June '09 and hasn't been seen since. However, i do want to keep the ad in for equipment (sails, jackstands, cockpit cushions, dodger cover but no frame, etc) for anyone who may be interested. would that be ok ?  I can provide more specifics if so. Cheoy Lee Offshore 31 (1967)
Juno is a classic fiberglass yacht, built in 1967 when solid, heavy construction was the norm, along with extensive use of mahogany and teak (above and below decks.), fir spars, etc. Major re-fitting and upgrading in 2002-04 at Crockers Boat Yard in Manchester, Mass. includes: all new wiring & breaker panel; VHF/Stereo; new Yanmar 2GM20 Diesel (less than 100hrs since install); new North sails (main, genoa, mizzen); head with hot/cold shower; binnacle with Ritchie compass and Edson pedestal & steering quad; Raymarine ST-60 speedo and depth, and much more.

Equipment

Anchors: 1 plow, 1 danforth, 200 ft 1' nylon + 15 ft chain; extra sails (used, in varying condition): main, 2 jibs, 150% Genoa, mizzen stays'l, roller furling gear; cockpit cushions/sail covers (all tan); (2) house/starting batteries; extra docking lines, miscellaneous lines; manual bilge pump; spare parts - diesel; 2 rubber fenders; miscellaneous metal fasteners; winch handles; jib-boom, shore cable.
