April 2010 - Important Update

We are writing this update to ask for help from the 1600 Cheoy Lee members.  As you know we took on this project about 12 years ago at the request from the folks that publish "Good Old Boat" Magazine.  We never dreamed that the website would take so much of our time over the years but it became a labor of love.

For financial and other reasons we had to sell our Cheoy Lee Clipper last spring and I have come out of retirement to work again in my field.  We are looking for land in the mountains of NC to build a small cottage to live in.  But we still feel that with all the work into the website, over 6,000 files, we need to keep the project alive since so many Cheoy Lee owners use the site on a regular basis.

I had posted a message in 2010 about support from the membership to keep the project going.  I am pleased to announce that Cheoy Lee is going to support the costs of the association's website.  This is great news for us and the association as this project will be maintained and moved forward

Thanks, james & cilla
