Newell Cadet named "Ripple"

Dear Mr. & Mrs. McGarvey,
I'm looking for any information on people who own a Cheoy Lee Newell Cadet. My father, G. Taylor Newell designed her in around 1968.  It was first built and put out as the Newell Cadet, and later Cheoy Lee changed the name to the Offshore 27.
I'm especially interested in finding out if the boat "Ripple" is still around.  This was the Newell Cadet that my father had modified especially for him by Cheoy Lee, it sported a led keel and an aluminum mast that was a foot taller than the standard issue.  She sailed out of Rowayton, CT, was sold to Rhode Island and last I heard of her, was on the CT River about 10 years ago.  Originally she had a plaque on her bulkhead indicating that she was built for the designer and a small half model on the door to the head. My dad died in 1987 and I'd love to find Ripple or at least see other Newell Cadets that are still out there.  Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
Sincerely,
Ruth Newell Donohue

Offshore 31 "Pegasus"

From Jim at TAGPIX@aol.com - During the late 70s and early 80s I owned a C.L. Offshore 31 called Pegasus.  She was ketch rigged and had a factory installed bowsprit.  I sailed her throughout the Northeast and sold her when I bought a Mason 43 in 1984,  Last I heard the boat was being sailed out of the Connecticut River.  I'm only curious as to her condition and wherabouts and not interested in repurchase.  Has anyone seen this boat??..

I am the original owner of this boat and am looking for the current owner. I sold the boat in 1991 in San Diego, CA to a young navy couple who then sold it about a year later. Her US documented number was 660920. Any help will be appreciated.

Wendaway Cheoy Lee SeaMaster

I am trying to locate the WENDAWAY, a 1975, 34'-9", Cheoy Lee "SeaMaster" model pilothouse/sedan trawler.   I lost track of the WENDAWAY in early 1997, when she was being offered for sale by Larsen Marine Services, Hammond, IN.   At that time the WENDAWAY was located in Beaufort, NC.    The  WENDAWAY, (the name may have changed?), is a sistership to my 1974 model.   I believe boats are the only two "SeaMasters" in North America.    I would like to make contact with WENDAWAY's owner(s).   Any information or leads would be appreciated.   Thank you.
